The fine print
Changing plans
- All payments are non-refundable.
- Cancel at least 3 days ahead and the full amount becomes a credit.
- Credits are good for 1 year on any service.
- Book at least 24 hours ahead.
Overnights
- One night means 24 hours from drop-off.
- Up to 2 hours late is on us.
- 2 to 8 extra hours: +50% of the nightly rate.
- More than 8 extra hours counts as another night.
Every pup
- All breeds welcome. A third dog from the same home is free.
- No bite history and no aggressive dogs. No exceptions.
- Town license and current rabies tags on the collar.
- Vet and emergency contact on file.
- Walks are one dog at a time, or two from the same home walked together. Greater Hartford for walks, drop-ins and pup sitting.
- Boarding: up to 4 dogs a night, spayed or neutered only, and no dogs in heat.
Open play at the Perry Play Yard
Free open play for West Hartford residents during posted hours. Please read before you come.
Who can come
- West Hartford residents only. No exceptions.
- Owners stay inside the yard and watch their dogs the whole time.
- Children under 15 come with an adult.
- No aggressive dogs, sick dogs, dogs in heat, puppies under 4 months, or animals other than dogs.
Every dog
- Valid license and current rabies tag on the collar.
- Leashed until you're inside the fence, and leashed again before you leave.
- Off leash inside is fine. Carry a leash and keep your dog under control.
- Play equipment is for dogs only.
Keep it nice
- Clean up after your dog. Bring your own bags. If your dog digs a hole, fill it before you go.
- No food or treats. They start squabbles.
- No smoking, alcohol or glass.
- Photos of you and your dog may be taken and shared.
Liability notice. Use of the Perry Play Yard is at your own risk. Users and dog owners take on all risks of using the property, including injury to people or dogs. Owners are responsible for any injury or damage their dogs cause. The owner is on site and may ask anyone not following the rules to leave.
